VERSION INFORMATION Are you using the latest version of your software? Version 6.0 for Windows is just around the corner. If you are already using one of our Windows versions, there are two intermediate steps you need to take to get to version 6.0 Step One is to upgrade to version 5.0.7 F. This version fixes a known problem with two of the reports not always showing the Year To Date totals. This version also changes some of the data access methods to be more compatible with Windows Vista. Version 5.0.7 F introduces the ability to get program updates via web download. No more waiting for CDs in the mail. Step Two is to upgrade to version 5.0.7 G. This version completes the transition to Vista style data access, and fixes all known problems. Version 6.0 is fully Vista Capable and Vista Aware. It is a full 32 bit implementation and comes with a digital signature, which is required by Vista for full compliance. This is also the first version to include a Vista Manifest File. Version 6.0 allows online updates and there will be a minimum of one update every 30 days. NOTE: Even if you do not plan to update to Vista, many of the features and requirements of Vista have been introduced into Windows XP through their Live Update feature. The entire set of Vista security features regarding Digital Signatures and Program Files safety has already been added to Windows XP. FREE UPDATES If you have purchased Stockroom Inventory within the last year, or you have a current Maintenance Subscription, you are eligible for these upgrades at no cost. LOW COST UPDATES If you are using a prior Windows version of Stockroom Inventory purchased more than a year ago, or your Maintenance Subscription is not current, there is a low cost upgrade path that will get you the latest version and a complete year of technical support and updates. DOS UPDATES If you are still using one of the DOS versions, there is an upgrade path to the Windows version that will import all your DOS data and put you on the path to be compatible with all future Windows Operating System Versions. Automatic online program updates. Automatic HELP and MANUAL updates by online download from within the program. Ability to contact Tech Support from within the program. Automatic online program updates over the web. 5.0.7 E - Update to allow exporting reports as Excel Pivot Tables. 5.0.7 D - Modification to History posting on super fast machines. 5.0.7 C - Correction to show Fiscal Year labels correctly on summary screen. 5.0.7 B - New XP/Vista aware install program and new install visual front end. 5.0.7 A - Remote View and Remote Post updated. 5.0.6 X - Changed all HELP screens to be XP/Vista Compatible. 5.0.6 W - Fixed "Rec Out Of Range" error on startup. 5.0.6 U - Changed View/Receive screen to show months correctly for Fiscal Year. 5.0.6 R - Added Remote Items Menu Option. 5.0.6 P - Adjustments were ALWAYS working with REAL data, NEVER sample data. (Fixed) 5.0.6 N - Fixed posting of deleted entries. 5.0.6 L - Recompiled to fix the "File not found LUITEM.WFO" problem that was introduced in release “K”. 5.0.6 K - Fixed some minor spelling errors in two screens. 5.0.6 J - Added Windows 2000 compatibility features. Recompiled. 5.0.6 H - Removed “Acme Industries” test user from the Owner name. 5.0.6 G - Changes to prevent blank entries when OK is pressed and all entry fields are empty. 5.0.6 D - Fixed “Record Out Of Range” error on some longer owner names. 5.0.6 B - Added “Number of Users” to sample error screen. 5.0.6 A - Registering ONE workstation now registers ALL workstations.
