Error Message that Contains the statement:
Cannot Swap out to RR??.SWP
There are two possible causes for this error:
1. The PC was turned off while running a report or the PC stopped running due to a power failure.
2. There is not enough disk space.
Action |
Enter the directory where the program resides and type:
DIR *.SWP
Is there a file present?
What is the number for bytes free?
If a file is present type EXACTLY as shown!:
DEL *.SWP
If a file is NOT present: What is the bytes free number? Is it greater than 2,000,000? You should have at least two megabytes of free disk space. If you do not have at least two megabytes, consult with your PC expert about obtaining more disk space.
